Speech & Language Assessment and Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy supports the identification and treatment of specific speech sound and language delays or disorders. In addition to customizing specific needs of the individual, The BHC team specializes in family-centred support in the Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and stuttering. Sessions can include:
Assessment for motor speech, speech sounds, language and stuttering for individuals 3 years+
Consultation for treatment plans or integrative recommendations
Treatment of CAS, stuttering, speech sound or language delay
In-person or telehealth services
Our licensed speech pathologists work with you and your child to assess and provide the appropriate therapies to help your child communicate more clearly and ease frustration. The BHC typically provides in-office assessments for children aged 3 and older, but can also arrange for assessments via teleconference for clients with specific disorders.
